Daily Fallout 76 Briefing - June 30, 2026
Two Helpings of Meat Week continues through July 7 with Grahm's Meat-Cook as today's daily challenge. Daily Ops takes you to Uncanny Caverns in Uplink mode against Blood Eagles carrying Piercing Gaze and Group Regeneration mutations. The Atomic Shop rotates fresh fishing-themed items today, and Double XP Weekend with Double Mutations launches Thursday July 2.
Active Events Today
Two Helpings of Meat Week
June 23 – July 7, 2026
Grahm's Meat-Cook fires throughout the event at Moonshiner's Shack just south of Vault 76 — completing it is today's daily challenge, so prioritise joining active server runs for double loot and quick SCORE. Primal Cuts runs map-wide as well; stack Prime Meat at the turn-in point to earn Legendary Scrip alongside event progress.
Double XP Weekend and Double Mutations (Upcoming)
July 2 – July 6, 2026
Double XP and Double Daily Ops Mutations start at the reset Thursday. Bank any large XP-intensive grind sessions until then and stock up on XP-boosting consumables (Blight Soup, Brain Bombs, XP booster serums) before the window opens.
Today's Daily Ops
| Mode | Uplink |
| Location | Uncanny Caverns |
| Enemies | Blood Eagles |
| Mutations | Piercing Gaze, Group Regeneration |
Mutation breakdown:
- Piercing Gaze — Enemies detect players through stealth; Chameleon armor, the Escape Artist perk, and ghosted stealth approaches lose their effectiveness. Fight in the open and favour straight damage output.
- Group Regeneration — Enemies near allies rapidly regenerate health. Clustered Blood Eagles will quickly undo sustained fire directed at one target. Separate packs with explosives or area denial, and focus kills rather than letting wounded enemies recover inside the group.
Strategy: Uplink mode requires locating and uploading signal data at uplink terminals while Blood Eagles contest the area. In Uncanny Caverns, tunnel chokepoints allow Blood Eagles to stack in tight groups — drop explosive weapons or grenade throws to break cluster formation and prevent Group Regeneration from offsetting your damage. Clear the immediate area around each uplink terminal before activating it; activating mid-combat with regenerating enemies nearby drains upload time. Because Piercing Gaze removes stealth, open each room aggressively and use the cavern walls as cover rather than attempting to ghost past spawns.
Today's Daily Challenges
| Challenge | SCORE |
|---|---|
| Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) | 1000 |
| Collect a Teapot (x2) | 250 |
| Complete the Event: "Grahm's Meat-Cook" | 250 |
| Consume a "Vintage" Alcoholic Beverage | 250 |
| Cripple a Scorched's Arm (x2) | 250 |
| Kill a Rusted Deathclaw | 250 |
| Repair Armor, Weapons, or Power Armor (x5) | 250 |
| Scrap junk to produce Gears (x5) | 250 |
Quick completion tips:
- Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) — Finishing six of the other seven challenges triggers the 1000 SCORE bonus; hit the faster ones (Teapot, Repair, Scrap Gears, Vintage drink) first to get the Gold Star early in your session.
- Collect a Teapot (x2) — Teapots appear in kitchens, dining areas, and cafeterias throughout Appalachia. Sugar Grove, the Whitespring Resort interior, and Seneca Rocks Visitor Center all have dense kitchen-container clusters where teapots spawn.
- Complete the Event: "Grahm's Meat-Cook" — Runs repeatedly at Moonshiner's Shack south of Vault 76 throughout Meat Week. Join any active public server and watch the event ticker; it typically fires hourly. Completing it also satisfies the weekly "Complete an Event while in a Team" challenge if you're grouped.
- Consume a "Vintage" Alcoholic Beverage — Vintage alcoholic drinks (such as Vintage Nuka-Cola Dark, aged wines, or other labeled vintage spirits) appear in pre-war upscale locations. Check the Whitespring Resort bar and restaurant areas, or search mansion-type structures in the Forest region.
- Cripple a Scorched's Arm (x2) — Use VATS and target the arm hit zone on any Scorched enemy. High-density Scorched spawns include Flatwoods, the Morgantown Airport, and the National Radio Astronomy Research Center. Two cripples complete this challenge.
- Kill a Rusted Deathclaw — Rusted Deathclaws are a lower-tier Deathclaw variant found mainly in the Forest region. Reliable spawns include Devil's Backbone (west-central Forest) and the area around Deathclaw Island. One kill finishes the challenge.
- Repair Armor, Weapons, or Power Armor (x5) — Use any Armor Workbench, Weapons Workbench, or Power Armor Station to repair five items. Deliberately degrade a stack of cheap weapons or armor pieces if your gear is already in good condition.
- Scrap junk to produce Gears (x5) — Desk Fans, Typewriters, Alarm Clocks, and Toy Cars all yield Gears when scrapped. Office buildings and suburban homes throughout Appalachia are reliable sources; this also stacks toward today's Daily Ops loot and the weekly Scrap Gears challenge.
Weekly Challenges
| Challenge | Reward |
|---|---|
| Complete a Gold Star Daily Challenge! (x3) | 1500 SCORE |
| Repeatable Under Rank 100: Gain XP (x10000) | 100 SCORE |
| Repeatable at Rank 100 or above: Complete a Public Event (x3) | 300 SCORE |
| Complete an Event while in a Team (x5) | 1000 SCORE |
| Craft any Flair at a Tinkerer's Bench (x3) | 1000 SCORE |
| Kill a Floater (x10) | 1000 SCORE |
| Kill an Angler (x9) | 1000 SCORE |
| Scrap junk to produce Antiseptic (x15) | 1000 SCORE |
| Scrap junk to produce Asbestos (x15) | 1000 SCORE |
| Scrap junk to produce Gears (x15) | 1000 SCORE |
| Collect Energy Ammo (x40) | 1000 SCORE |
| Deal a Critical Hit to an Enemy in VATS (x25) | 1000 SCORE |
Quick completion hints:
- Complete a Gold Star Daily Challenge! (x3) — Resets each day; today's Gold Star counts as one of the three needed. Earn it on any three separate days this week.
- Complete an Event while in a Team (x5) — Grahm's Meat-Cook (active all week at Moonshiner's Shack) counts every completion. Form or join a public team before entering the event to ensure credit. Five Meat-Cook runs across the week knocks this out comfortably.
- Craft any Flair at a Tinkerer's Bench (x3) — Any Flair recipe learned from the game counts. Head to any Tinkerer's Bench (one is in your CAMP if built), equip a flair recipe, and craft three; materials are typically common junk components.
- Kill a Floater (x10) — Floaters (Gnasher, Flamer, Freezer variants) spawn reliably in the Mire region — particularly around Tanagra Town and Firebase Major — and in the Cranberry Bog. Ten kills spread over a few server hops in those areas completes this.
- Kill an Angler (x9) — Anglers inhabit the Cranberry Bog region near water. Bleeding Kate's Grotto, Watoga Shanty Town, and the eastern Cranberry Bog wetlands are reliable spawns. Nine kills across two or three Cranberry Bog runs is typical.
- Scrap junk to produce Antiseptic (x15) — Abraxo Cleaner, Abraxo Cleaner Industrial Grade, Blight, and Antifreeze all yield Antiseptic when scrapped. Hospitals (Morgantown Hospital, AVR Medical Center), kitchens, and maintenance rooms throughout Appalachia are good sources.
- Scrap junk to produce Asbestos (x15) — Oven Mitts, Cigarette Cartons, Packaging Tape, and Cigar Boxes yield Asbestos. Look in kitchen and food-service areas in buildings across the Forest and Ash Heap regions.
- Scrap junk to produce Gears (x15) — Desk Fans, Typewriters, and Alarm Clocks. This stacks directly with today's daily Scrap Gears challenge — run a loop of office buildings or schools to knock both out together.
- Collect Energy Ammo (x40) — Fusion Cells, Plasma Cartridges, Electron Charges, and Gamma Rounds all count. Robot enemies and Scorched carrying energy weapons drop them; ammo boxes throughout Appalachia also contain energy ammo. Vendor bots sell energy ammo directly if you need to top up quickly.
- Deal a Critical Hit to an Enemy in VATS (x25) — Build up the critical meter by spending AP in VATS (accelerated by high Luck stats and the Four Leaf Clover perk). Spend each stored critical against any enemy. Twenty-five crits across a standard session with moderate Luck is achievable in one or two event runs.
