Meat Week starts at Tue, Jun 23, 2026, 04:00 PM UTC and runs through Tue, Jul 07, 2026, 04:00 PM UTC. Head to Grahm's Meat-Cook public event for new 2026 rewards including the Hog Splitter melee weapon; Primal Cuts and Prime Cut events are also live, offering Legendary drops and bonus loot throughout the wasteland.

Mutation breakdown:

• Savage Strike — Enemies deal increased melee damage; staying at range reduces incoming punishment significantly.
• Resilient — Enemies are more durable and harder to finish; focus fire on individual targets rather than spreading damage.

Strategy: In Decryption mode, locate and hold the active terminal to build decryption progress while repelling Super Mutant waves. West Tek's tight indoor corridors concentrate spawns, making area-effect and explosive builds effective for clearing clusters. With Savage Strike active, maintain distance or use VATS to stay out of melee reach; take down Overlords and Behemoths first before sweeping lesser Super Mutants.

• Scrap junk to produce Asbestos (x5): Scrap Wonderglue, Abraxo Cleaner, or Coolant Caps — all are reliable Asbestos sources. Check kitchen shelves in pre-war homes or general store shelves.
• Complete the Event: "Primal Cuts": This Meat Week public event appears on the map during the event window. Join the event and complete the carving phase against tagged animals. Community reports indicate a bug where hunters are not spawning correctly at some instances — run the event more than once if needed.
• Eat a Meat-based Meal (x10): Craft and consume Brahmin Steak, Grilled Radstag, or any meat-based recipe at a cooking station. Batch-crafting multiples of the same recipe and consuming them in sequence is fastest.
• Kill Insects (x5): Radroaches are the easiest target — found in the Whitespring bunker basement, Vault 76 surrounding tunnels, or any dark interior. Bloodbugs near rivers also count.
• Kill a Radstag (x5): Radstags roam the Forest and Savage Divide. Check open fields near Flatwoods or south of Vault 76.
• Sell Bloatfly Meat to an NPC vendor: Kill Bloatflies (common near Flatwoods and the Overseer's Camp in the Forest), loot their meat, then sell to any NPC vendor such as Vendor Bot Responders at Flatwoods or Vendor Bot Greg at Whitespring.
• Sell a Shotgun to an NPC vendor: Any shotgun type qualifies — double-barrel, pump action, or combat shotgun. Craft a pipe shotgun at a weapons workbench if you have no spare to sell.

• Cripple a Blood Eagle's Leg (x18): Use VATS with limb targeting aimed at Blood Eagle legs. Blood Eagles spawn at Crater's Edge in the Cranberry Bog and at raider camps across the Savage Divide — chain multiple encounters across sessions to reach 18.
• Eat a Meat-based Meal (x25): Stacks directly with the daily Eat a Meat-based Meal challenge — cook and consume Brahmin Steak, Radstag Stew, or any meat recipe repeatedly over the week.
• Scrap Pre-War Money (x50): Found in safes, cash registers, and desks throughout pre-war buildings. Whitespring Hotel interior and abandoned storefronts are dense farming spots.
• Scrap junk to produce Lead (x30): Scrap pencils, toy cars, or paint cans at any workbench. Pencils are especially common in school buildings like Morgantown High School.
