Daily Fallout 76 Briefing - June 18, 2026

Uplink Daily Ops at The Burning Mine pits you against Mole Miners with Piercing Gaze and Reflective Skin — skip melee and use sustained ranged fire to stay safe. Double SCORE, Double Mutations, Treasure Hunter, and Legendary Sale kicks off today through June 22, doubling challenge SCORE and spawning Mole Miner treasure hunts. Running Daily Ops today overlaps with three active challenges at once.

Active Events Today

Double SCORE, Double Mutations, Treasure Hunter & Legendary Sale

June 18 – June 22, 2026

All Daily and Weekly Challenge SCORE rewards are doubled through Monday — an ideal window to burn through the full weekly challenge list. The Treasure Hunter component spawns Mole Miners carrying Lucky Lunchboxes across Appalachia, and today's Daily Ops takes place at a Mole Miner location, so a single Ops run knocks out several overlapping challenges simultaneously.

Banded Axolotl of the Month — Mire & Toxic Valley

June 2 – July 7, 2026

The Banded Axolotl is June's catchable species, available as a small fish in the Mire and Toxic Valley regions only. Eighteen days remain in the window; today's "Catch a Fish in the Cranberry Bog Region" daily and the Banded Axolotl monthly goal are in different regions, so plan separate trips.

Today's Daily Ops

ModeUplink
LocationThe Burning Mine
EnemiesMole Miners
MutationsPiercing Gaze, Reflective Skin

Mutation breakdown:

  • Piercing Gaze — Enemies have enhanced detection and accuracy; stealth-dependent builds will find enemies spot them faster than usual, so treat The Burning Mine as a loud engagement and focus on killing enemies quickly rather than repositioning in stealth.
  • Reflective Skin — Enemies reflect a portion of incoming damage back to the attacker; avoid melee strikes and high-burst single-hit weapons, as each hit that connects sends damage back at you. Sustained moderate fire-rate weapons reduce the per-hit reflection penalty.

Strategy: Uplink mode requires locating and interacting with uplink terminals while holding off incoming enemy waves. Clear the immediate area around each terminal before activating it — Mole Miners will flood the room during the upload timer, and Reflective Skin makes close-quarters melee dangerous. Stand at mid-range, preferably with terrain cover between you and the pack, and use a steady-fire ranged weapon to manage each wave. Piercing Gaze means positioning behind cover is more important than staying mobile in the open. The Burning Mine's corridors funnel enemies into choke points; use that geometry to limit how many can reach you at once. Completing this Ops run today also contributes to the "Kill a Mole Miner (x30)" weekly challenge and the Treasure Hunter event.

Today's Daily Challenges

ChallengeSCORE
Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6)2000
Kill a Lost (x5)500
Catch a Fish in the Cranberry Bog Region (x2)500
Consume an Alcoholic Beverage (x5)500
Cripple a Mole Miner's Head (x2)500
Gain XP (x2500)500
Kill a Gulper (x3)500
Drink Nuka-Cola Cranberry (x2)500

With Double SCORE active today, each 500-SCORE challenge pays out 1000 SCORE and the Gold Star pays 4000 SCORE — completing the full set nets 11,000 SCORE instead of the usual 5,500.

Quick completion tips:

  • Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) — All six non-Gold-Star challenges must be completed to unlock the Gold Star bonus; today's set is cleanly achievable in one session by running Daily Ops (handles Mole Miner cripple + XP), fishing in the Cranberry Bog, and hunting Lost at an Infestation site.
  • Kill a Lost (x5) — The Lost are Infestation enemies introduced in Patch 68; head to any active Infestation spawn point on the map (marked with a radiation icon during active infestations) to find them in groups, making five kills quick.
  • Catch a Fish in the Cranberry Bog Region (x2) — Use any fishing hole in the Cranberry Bog specifically — the region around Watoga and the eastern wetlands has several reliable spots; two casts are all that's needed.
  • Consume an Alcoholic Beverage (x5) — Any alcoholic drink (Nuka-Cola Dark, beer, wine, bourbon, etc.) counts; if you have a stash of beverages, knock these out at your CAMP before heading out. Vendors at The Whitespring and Foundation also sell alcoholic drinks.
  • Cripple a Mole Miner's Head (x2) — Run today's Daily Ops at The Burning Mine; target Mole Miners' heads in V.A.T.S. for reliable cripple procs. Two head cripples completes this challenge within the first Ops wave.
  • Gain XP (x2500) — Any XP-granting activity counts; today's Daily Ops with Double Mutations active means enemies are tougher and reward more XP per kill, making a single Ops run more than sufficient.
  • Kill a Gulper (x3) — Gulpers spawn reliably in the Mire region; check the shores around Watoga Estates, the south-eastern Mire wetlands, and the area around The Freak Show. Three kills is a quick run through any of these zones.
  • Drink Nuka-Cola Cranberry (x2) — Nuka-Cola Cranberry spawns in the Cranberry Bog region and can be found in fridges, coolers, and on vendor bots throughout Appalachia; it can also be purchased from player vendors or crafted at a Brewing Station.

Scrap junk to produce Adhesive (x15)1000 SCORE

Quick completion hints:

  • Complete a Gold Star Daily Challenge! (x3) — Complete today's full daily challenge set (and the Gold Star it unlocks) for one of the three required; with Double SCORE active all week, knocking out the Gold Star daily over three consecutive days is the fastest path.
  • Repeatable Under Rank 100: Gain XP (x10000) — Any XP activity counts; Daily Ops with today's tougher double-mutation Mole Miners reward dense XP per run and will fill this quickly.
  • Repeatable at Rank 100 or above: Complete a Public Event (x3) — Any public event on the map counts; Radiation Rumble, Uranium Fever, and Encryptid each complete in under ten minutes and spawn frequently.
  • Buy an item from or Sell an item to another Player (x15) — Each transaction with another player's CAMP vendor counts as one; visit player CAMPs in a single server hop, buying the cheapest items you can find to rack up 15 purchases efficiently.
  • Collect Caps (x2500) — Looting enemies, selling junk to vendors, and completing events all generate caps; one or two full event + vendor sell sessions will cover this without dedicated effort.
  • Complete a Grunt Hunt (x10) — Grunt Hunts are targeted kill challenges against common enemy factions; today's Daily Ops at The Burning Mine (Mole Miners) and the active Treasure Hunter event both generate Mole Miner kills which should contribute — verify in-game which faction counts toward your active Grunt Hunt.
  • Consume an Alcoholic Beverage (x20) — Craft or collect any alcohol (beer, wine, bourbon, Nuka-Cola Dark); brewing stations at your CAMP can mass-produce drinks from basic ingredients, making it easy to knock out all 20 in one sitting.
  • Craft any Plushie at a Tinkerer's Bench (x3) — Requires a plushie plan (available from events, vendors, and Minerva's past rotations); if you have plans, craft three at any Tinkerer's Bench using basic cloth and material components.
  • Kill a Mole Miner (x30) — Today's Daily Ops at The Burning Mine is the most efficient source; Mole Miners also spawn at Excavator PA spawn points, the Ash Heap mines, and Treasure Hunter event nodes throughout the week.
  • Kill a Rust Raider (x30) — Rust Raiders are found in the Ash Heap region, particularly around Welch, the mining areas south of Lewisburg, and the Tyler County area; they also appear in Daily Ops rotations.
  • Mod an Energy Weapon (x5) — Any mod applied at a weapons workbench to an energy weapon (laser rifle, plasma caster, Gatling plasma, etc.) counts; scrapping and remodding the same weapon five times is valid if materials are available.
  • Scrap junk to produce Acid (x15) — Items that yield Acid when scrapped include Abraxo Cleaner, Abraxo Cleaner Industrial Grade, Coolant, and Antiseptic; farm these from kitchens, labs, and Whitespring Resort supply rooms.
  • Scrap junk to produce Adhesive (x15) — Duct Tape, Wonderglue, Military Grade Duct Tape, and Economy Wonderglue all yield Adhesive; alternatively, craft Vegetable Starch (Corn x3 + Mutfruit x3 + Tato x3 + Purified Water x1) and scrap it for the most efficient Adhesive-per-item ratio.

Atom Store

The Legendary Sale is live as part of the Double SCORE, Treasure Hunter & Legendary Sale event running through . Check the Atom Shop in-game for discounted items during the sale window.
