Daily Fallout 76 Briefing - June 13, 2026

Double XP and Scrip Surplus weekend winds down Monday. Decryption ops hit Community Center with Robots and Savage Strike, Freezing Touch, and Toxic Blood mutations. World Pets PTS opens today on Steam.

Active Events Today

P.R.O.T.E.C.T Protocol — Community Challenge

June 7 – June 15, 2026 The community Infestation-clearing challenge is in its final two days — contribute by running public Infestations across Appalachia before Monday's 12:00 PM ET reset to help hit milestone reward thresholds.

Double XP Weekend

June 11 – June 15, 2026 All XP earned is doubled through Monday's reset. Stack this with the daily Gain XP challenge (2,500 XP) and the weekly Gain XP repeatable (10,000 XP) to clear seasonal SCORE goals quickly before the bonus ends.

Scrip Surplus and Double Mutations

June 11 – June 15, 2026 Legendary scrip trade-in payouts are boosted and all enemies in the world carry double mutations through Monday. Sell unwanted legendaries at the Rusty Pick or Purveyor now for extra scrip, and prioritize mutated public events for the weekly challenge stack.

Today's Daily Ops

ModeDecryption
LocationCommunity Center
EnemiesRobots
MutationsSavage Strike, Freezing Touch, Toxic Blood

Mutation breakdown:

  • Savage Strike — Melee attacks ignore 75% of target armor; close-quarters melee and unarmed builds receive a major damage boost near the decryption terminal.
  • Freezing Touch — Melee attacks have a chance to freeze targets, enabling crowd control of incoming Robot groups around the objective.
  • Toxic Blood — Enemies release a toxic gas cloud on death; avoid standing in the blast radius when landing the killing blow on Robots.

Strategy: Position yourself on the active Decryption terminal to advance the objective while engaging Robots at close range — Savage Strike heavily favors melee builds in this tight area. Use Freezing Touch procs to lock down groups rushing the terminal and protect your decryption progress. When finishing off Robots, back away a step before landing the killing blow to avoid Toxic Blood splash, then immediately return to resume decryption.

  • Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) — Completing any 6 of the other 8 dailies below unlocks the 1000 SCORE Gold Star bonus; all are fast enough to chain in a single session.
  • Build Anything in a Shelter (x10) — Enter your Shelter and place or move any 10 items — even small decorations count; fastest to knock out first before heading out.
  • Visit a Best Build C.A.M.P. — Open the map, locate a yellow Best Build CAMP icon, and fast-travel to it; one arrival completes the challenge.
  • Gain XP (x2500) — With Double XP active, completing one public event or a single Daily Ops run clears this immediately.
  • Harvest Corn, Razorgrain, or a Tato Plant (x12) — Harvest from your own CAMP crops first, then swing by player CAMPs around Flatwoods or Vault 76; any combination of the three plant types totaling 12 completes it.
  • Kill a Creature (x12) and Kill a Scorched (x10) — Scorched count as creatures, so killing 12 Scorched satisfies both challenges at once. Morgantown Airport and the Ash Heap have dense Scorched spawns.
  • Plant a Crop in a Workshop or C.A.M.P. in Free Cam (x10) — Claim Sunshine Meadows Industrial Farm or any workshop, switch to Free Cam (hold V on PC or hold the right stick on console), and plant 10 crops at the planting stations.
  • Sell a Weapon to an NPC vendor (x5) — Visit any train station NPC vendor and sell 5 weapons directly from your inventory or stash; any weapon type qualifies.

  • Repeatable at Rank 100 or above: Complete a Public Event (x3) — Rad Rumble, Eviction Notice, and Heart of the Swamp are high-density events; three completions earn the repeatable reward.
  • Build a Decoration in a Shelter (x15) — Combines directly with today's daily shelter build challenge; place or move 15 decorative items inside your Shelter to complete both at once.
  • Collect Pre-war Food (x20) — Canned goods, Sugar Bombs, Fancy Lads Snack Cakes, and similar items qualify; the Morgantown High School cafeteria and Whitespring Resort kitchen area offer quick multi-spawn sweeps.
  • Collect RadAway or Rad-X (x15) — First-aid kits, medical cabinets, and pharmacy shelves in hospitals and bunkers yield both; AVR Medical Center in Charleston and The Whitespring Bunker clinic are reliable multi-spawn locations.
  • Collect Soap (x14) — Soap spawns in bathrooms throughout Appalachia; Charleston Capitol Building restrooms and the Whitespring Resort hotel rooms offer multiple spawns per visit.
  • Complete a Mutated Public Event (x3) — With Double Mutations active through June 15, most public events already feature mutated enemies; check the event board at any train station and queue in. Completions also count toward Kill a Mutated Enemy (x30).
  • Kill a Mutated Enemy (x30) — Pair with the Mutated Public Event challenge; enemies in mutated events qualify and kill counts stack across multiple event runs.
  • Cripple a Human's Head (x25) — Target Raiders, Cultists, or Gunners in the Ash Heap or Savage Divide; use VATS targeting with the Head body part selected to trigger cripple hits efficiently.
  • Mod an Energy Weapon (x5) — Visit any weapons workbench with 5 energy weapons (laser rifle, plasma pistol, Gatling plasma, etc.) and apply any available modification to each one.
  • Scrap junk to produce Glass (x30) — Glass Shards, Mentats packages, and empty Nuka-Cola bottles all yield glass when scrapped; check your junk tab and scrap at any workbench to clear this quickly.
