Daily Fallout 76 Briefing - June 12, 2026
Double XP, Scrip Surplus, and Double Mutations continue through June 15. Today's Daily Ops runs Uplink at Arktos Pharma Biome Labs against Communists with Piercing Gaze, Active Camouflage, and Volatile mutations active. The P.R.O.T.E.C.T Protocol community challenge is also still running.
Active Events Today
P.R.O.T.E.C.T Protocol — Community Challenge
June 7 – June 15, 2026
A server-wide community challenge running until Monday's reset. Participate in daily activities and events to contribute toward collective rewards before the June 15 deadline.
Double XP Weekend
June 11 – June 15, 2026
All XP earned across Appalachia is doubled through Monday's 12:00 PM ET reset. Prime time to level up alts, grind the weekly XP challenge (Under Rank 100), and push season ranks before the window closes.
Scrip Surplus and Double Mutations
June 11 – June 15, 2026
Legendary scrip payouts are doubled and all public events run with double mutations through June 15. Stack Scrip Surplus with legendary farming runs for maximum returns, and use the boosted mutation rate to knock out the "Complete a Mutated Public Event (x3)" weekly challenge.
Today's Daily Ops
| Mode | Uplink |
| Location | Arktos Pharma Biome Labs |
| Enemies | Communists |
| Mutations | Piercing Gaze, Active Camouflage, Volatile |
Mutation breakdown:
- Piercing Gaze — Enemies detect players even through stealth; sneak builds will find their positioning advantage reduced.
- Active Camouflage — Enemies can turn invisible; watch for shimmer effects and listen for audio cues to locate their position.
- Volatile — Enemies explode on death; maintain distance when landing the killing blow to avoid lethal splash damage.
Strategy: In Uplink mode, hold the terminal area and defend Communist waves while the upload sequence runs. Avoid clustering near low-health enemies — Volatile explosions chain-damage grouped players. Use AoE attacks or V.A.T.S. to track and target invisible Communists from Active Camouflage. Finish enemies from range and back off before the death blast resolves.

- Drink Nuka-Cherry (x2) — Nuka-Cherry spawns at Nuka-Cola branded locations and in player vendor machines. The Nuka-World on Tour event area also stocks branded Nuka-Cola variants.
- Kill an Angler (x5) — Anglers spawn reliably in the Mire region: Harper's Ferry, Dyer Chemical, and the flooded areas around Tanagra Town are consistent spots. A quick server hop fills the count fast.
- Build a Generator in a Shelter — Enter your shelter, open Build mode, and place any generator object. Scrap it after for a material refund.
- Complete an Event while in a Team — Form or join a team from the Social menu, then finish any active public event. Mutated events are running all weekend with Scrip Surplus active.
- Cripple a Human's Head (x2) — Use V.A.T.S. to target the head hit zone on any human enemy. Today's Daily Ops Communists at Arktos Pharma count — run it first.
- Kill a Human Enemy (x10) — Communists in today's Daily Ops count directly. One full Uplink run should clear most or all of this challenge.
- Mod an Energy Weapon — Visit any weapons workbench and apply one mod to any energy weapon (Laser, Plasma, Gauss, etc.). Any barrel or receiver mod qualifies.
- Visit your Shelter — Fast travel to your CAMP and step through the shelter door. Instant completion.

- Repeatable at Rank 100 or above: Complete a Public Event (x3) — Any public event counts. With Scrip Surplus active, combine this with legendary-dense events like Radiation Rumble or Uranium Fever.
- Build a Decoration in a Shelter (x15) — Open Build mode in your shelter and place any 15 decoration items. Shelters have no budget limit, so place and rearrange freely to hit 15.
- Collect Pre-war Food (x20) — Loot kitchen cabinets and refrigerators in residential areas: Flatwoods, Morgantown housing blocks, and Grafton kitchens all spawn pre-war food reliably.
- Collect RadAway or Rad-X (x15) — Medical facilities are the fastest source: WVU Medical Center, Morgantown Airport terminal, and any hospital location. Player vendor machines also stock these regularly.
- Collect Soap (x14) — Soap spawns in bathrooms across Appalachia. Supermarkets, Charleston office buildings, and residential homes are the most consistent locations.
- Complete a Mutated Public Event (x3) — Scrip Surplus and Double Mutations is active through June 15, so public events are running with boosted mutations all weekend.
- Cripple a Human's Head (x25) — Today's Daily Ops (Communists at Arktos Pharma) stacks this steadily. Use V.A.T.S. for consistent head targeting; the Concentrated Fire perk improves hit chance.
- Kill a Mutated Enemy (x30) — Daily Ops enemies at Arktos Pharma carry mutations today. The active Double Mutations event also increases mutated enemy frequency at public events.
- Mod an Energy Weapon (x5) — Apply one mod per day over 5 days at any weapons workbench, or clear all 5 at once if you have the materials ready. Each application counts.
- Scrap junk to produce Glass (x30) — Scrap Glass Jars, Bottles, and Broken Glass at any workbench. Supermarkets and residential kitchens across the map are dense with jars and bottles.
