Double XP Weekend
June 11 – June 15, 2026
Starting today at , all XP earned is doubled through Monday reset. Excellent time to grind Daily Ops, public events, or any content where leveling matters.
Scrip Surplus and Double Mutations
June 11 – June 15, 2026
Starting today at , legendary items yield increased Scrip when traded in at the Rusty Pick, and public events spawn with double the number of mutations for extra challenge and rewards through Monday.
Today's Daily Ops
| Mode | Decryption |
| Location | Watoga Raider Arena |
| Enemies | Overgrown |
| Mutations | Savage Strike, Group Regeneration |
Mutation breakdown:
- Savage Strike — Enemies deal increased limb damage with every hit; keep stims stocked and consider equipping the Field Surgeon or Traveling Pharmacy perks to stay mobile under pressure.
- Group Regeneration — Enemies regenerate health when standing close together; use AOE attacks (grenades, area-denial weapons, explosive legendaries) to out-damage their healing or pull enemies apart before engaging.
Strategy: In Decryption mode, identify and kill the spy enemy carrying the Cryptokey — it is marked with a distinct indicator — then use the key to unlock the designated terminal. Overgrown enemies are susceptible to fire damage, so a Flamer or Molotov Cocktails are effective weapons here. With Group Regeneration active, avoid sustained single-target fire into clustered groups; switch to AOE to race ahead of the heal rate and clear each wave efficiently.
Today's Daily Challenges
| Challenge | SCORE |
|---|---|
| Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) | 1000 |
| 1st: Drink Nuka-Twist (x2) | 250 |
| 1st: Eat Dog Food (x5) | 250 |
| Build a Bed, Table, or Stairs in a Workshop or C.A.M.P. (x3) | 250 |
| Complete an Event | 250 |
| Craft Bulk Aluminum | 250 |
| Kill a Canine (x5) | 250 |
| Kill a Creature (x12) | 250 |
| Pick a Lock | 250 |
Quick completion tips:
- Gold Star requires completing 6 of the other 8 daily challenges — prioritize fast ones like Kill a Creature, Pick a Lock, and Craft Bulk Aluminum to reach the threshold quickly.
- 1st: Drink Nuka-Twist (x2): Nuka-Twist can be crafted at a Chemistry Station or found at vending machines and in world loot; stock up before launching into events.
- 1st: Eat Dog Food (x5): Dog Food spawns in kitchens, shelters, and grocery stores throughout Appalachia — Flatwoods and Morgantown are reliable spots.
- Build a Bed, Table, or Stairs in a Workshop or C.A.M.P. (x3): Open your C.A.M.P. build menu and place any bed, table, or staircase piece three times; pick each back up and replace to rack up the count without using extra budget.
- Complete an Event: With Double XP active today, any public event grants boosted XP — "Uranium Fever" in the Ash Heap or "Line in the Sand" at Fort Defiance are short and reliable clears.
- Craft Bulk Aluminum: Head to any Tinker's Workbench → Bulk items → Bulk Aluminum (requires 10 Aluminum scraps per bulk unit).
- Kill a Canine (x5): Mongrels spawn reliably near Morgantown Airport, Flatwoods, and around the Whitespring resort perimeter.
- Kill a Creature (x12): Any non-human, non-robot creature counts — running Daily Ops or a public event will cover this in a single session.
- Pick a Lock: Any locked container or door qualifies; Red Rocket stations and abandoned houses throughout Appalachia are loaded with locked containers.

Quick completion hints:
- Complete a Gold Star Daily Challenge! (x3): Earn the Gold Star (complete 6 daily challenges) on three separate reset days this week — today counts as day one.
- Build a Decoration in a Shelter (x15): Enter your C.A.M.P. shelter and place any decorative item 15 times; small props like posters, candles, or rugs each count individually, and you can pick them back up and replace to accumulate.
- Collect Pre-war Food (x20): Fancy Lads Snack Cakes, Sugar Bombs, Pork n' Beans, Salisbury Steak, and Cram all count — check ruined kitchens, grocery stores, and campsite loot containers; the Whitespring Mall food court area is dense with spawns.
- Collect RadAway or Rad-X (x15): Found in medical facilities, Vault rooms, and hospital locations (Watoga Emergency Services, AVR Medical Center in Charleston); both item types contribute to the same tally.
- Collect Soap (x14): Soap spawns in bathroom sinks and laundry rooms across Appalachia — the Whitespring Golf Club and Morgantown High School have multiple bathrooms with consistent spawns; it can also be crafted at a Chemistry Station using Antiseptic.
- Complete a Mutated Public Event (x3): With Scrip Surplus and Double Mutations active this weekend, public events spawn with double mutations — look for the purple mutation icon and complete any three over the week; server-hop if events are scarce.
- Cripple a Human's Head (x25): Use aimed headshots or VATS on Scorched in the Ash Heap or Raiders at Clancy Manor; shotguns at point-blank range or sniper rifles with Rifleman perks cripple heads efficiently.
- Kill a Mutated Enemy (x30): Running today's Daily Ops at Watoga (Overgrown) counts; stack this with "Complete a Mutated Public Event" to knock out both challenges in the same sessions.
- Mod an Energy Weapon (x5): Apply five modifications to any energy weapons (laser rifle, plasma caster, Gauss pistol, etc.) at a weapons workbench — swapping barrels or sights across multiple weapons counts.
- Scrap junk to produce Glass (x30): Overlap with the daily Glass challenge from earlier this week; hoard cameras, microscopes, empty bottles, and Nuka-Cola bottles from the Whitespring shops and Mama Dolce's Food Processing Plant.
