Active Events Today
P.R.O.T.E.C.T Protocol — Community Challenge
June 7 – June 15, 2026
The Brotherhood of Steel's community challenge is active — clear Infestations across Appalachia to contribute toward 500,000 total clears for the grand prize Brotherhood Protector Power Armor. Log in each day to claim a free reward from the Atomic Shop; today's (Wednesday, June 10) reward is the Infestations Protector Consumable Kit (Mystery Bobblehead Box, Lunchbox, Scout Banner). A free Fallout 1st Limited Preview Trial is also claimable through June 15.
Today's Daily Ops
| Mode | Uplink |
| Location | Community Center |
| Enemies | Fanatics |
| Mutations | Piercing Gaze, Reflective Skin |
Mutation breakdown:
- Piercing Gaze — Enemies can see through stealth and detect crouching players; sneaking builds lose their damage bonus, so play aggressively.
- Reflective Skin — Enemies reflect a portion of incoming ranged damage back at the attacker; melee weapons and explosive builds avoid the reflection entirely.
Strategy: Skip stealth builds entirely today — Piercing Gaze nullifies the bonus and Reflective Skin punishes sustained ranged fire. Bring a melee weapon or grenade launcher to burn through Fanatics without taking reflected damage. In Uplink mode, prioritize the Code Carriers; once you collect a code, upload it at the nearest terminal quickly before more enemies respawn around it.
Today's Daily Challenges
| Challenge | SCORE |
|---|---|
| Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) | 1000 |
| Chew some Bubblegum (x1) | 250 |
| Collect Caps (x250) | 250 |
| Complete a Daily Operation on a Public Team! | 250 |
| Complete a Daily Quest | 250 |
| Hack a Terminal | 250 |
| Kill a Deathclaw | 250 |
| Kill a Feral Ghoul (x10) | 250 |
| Mod a Weapon (x3) | 250 |
| Scrap junk to produce Glass (x10) | 250 |
Quick completion tips:
- Chew some Bubblegum: Bubblegum spawns in vending machines and grocery shelves (Whitespring Resort shop area is reliable). One piece clears it.
- Collect Caps (x250): Selling weapons or armor to vendors, completing public events, and running Uranium Fever or Line in the Sand each bank solid caps.
- Complete a Daily Operation on a Public Team!: Open the Social menu, join any active Public Team, then complete today's Uplink op at Community Center — both challenges resolve simultaneously.
- Complete a Daily Quest: Daily quests such as Hunter/Hunted (radio network), Flavors of Mayhem (Rose at Top of the World), or any Order of the Tadpole patrol count.
- Hack a Terminal: Any green-screen hackable terminal works — Sugar Grove, the Whitespring Bunker lobby, and Grafton Steel all have accessible terminals near fast travel points.
- Kill a Deathclaw: Reliable spawns at Devil's Backbone (east of Vault 76), Hopewell Cave (north of Vault 76), and the quarry southeast of Morgantown.
- Kill a Feral Ghoul (x10): Charleston Capitol Building, Grafton town, and Point Pleasant are dense Feral Ghoul zones easily cleared in one run.
- Mod a Weapon (x3): Visit any weapons workbench and apply three mods across one or multiple weapons — swapping barrel, grip, and sight on a single pipe pistol satisfies all three.
- Scrap junk to produce Glass (x10): Cameras, microscopes, empty bottles, and canning jars all yield Glass when scrapped; kitchens and science labs are fast sources.

Quick completion hints:
- Complete a Gold Star Daily Challenge! (x3): Earn the Gold Star (complete 6 daily challenges) on three separate reset days this week — today counts as day one.
- Build a Decoration in a Shelter (x15): Enter any shelter and place 15 decorations; small props like posters, candles, or rugs each count individually toward the total.
- Collect Pre-war Food (x20): Fancy Lads Snack Cakes, Sugar Bombs, Pork n' Beans, Salisbury Steak, and Cram all count — check ruined kitchens, grocery stores, and camp site loot containers.
- Collect RadAway or Rad-X (x15): Med-X kits, first aid boxes, hospital locations (RobCo Research Center, Watoga Emergency Services), and player vendors are consistent sources; both item types contribute to the same tally.
- Collect Soap (x14): Soap spawns in bathroom sinks and laundry rooms; it can also be crafted at a chemistry station using Antiseptic if field-looting runs short.
- Complete a Mutated Public Event (x3): Look for events with a purple mutation icon on the world map — complete any three this week, regardless of which mutation is applied.
- Cripple a Human's Head (x25): Use aimed headshots or VATS on Raiders, Cultists, or Scorched; the Incisor perk (for melee) and shotgun point-blank bursts both cripple heads efficiently.
- Kill a Mutated Enemy (x30): Every kill inside a Mutated Public Event counts — stack this with "Complete a Mutated Public Event" to knock out both challenges at once.
- Mod an Energy Weapon (x5): Apply five modifications to any energy weapons (laser rifle, plasma caster, Gauss pistol, etc.) at a weapons workbench.
- Scrap junk to produce Glass (x30): Overlap with the daily Glass challenge; the weekly requires 30 total — hoard cameras, microscopes, empty bottles, and canning jars across multiple vendor/world runs.
