Active Events Today

The Big Bloom Event

May 19 – June 2, 2026

The Big Bloom ends Tuesday at 12:00 PM ET — this weekend is your final push to farm Overgrown, Beezlebabies, and Beezlebubs for seasonal rewards. Stack the daily Overgrown kill challenge with the weekly Beezlebub challenge by running repeated Big Bloom public event instances before the curtain drops.

Gold Rush

May 28 – June 1, 2026

Gold Rush runs through Monday, boosting Gold Bullion earnings from Daily Ops and select activities. Run your daily ops and quests now to maximize bullion income before the bonus expires at Monday's reset.

Today's Daily Ops

ModeUplink
LocationWatoga High School
EnemiesOvergrown
MutationsPiercing Gaze, Danger Cloud

Mutation breakdown:

  • Piercing Gaze — Enemies detect players at greatly increased range and see through stealth; sneak and stealth-boy builds are heavily penalized today.
  • Danger Cloud — Enemies release a hazardous gas cloud on death; back away immediately after the killing blow to avoid standing in the cloud.

Strategy: Watoga High School is a multi-floor structure in the Cranberry Bog — clear rooms one at a time rather than pushing aggressively to avoid stacking multiple death clouds in tight corridors. Prioritize ranged weapons to tag Overgrown from a safe distance, then step back to let Danger Clouds clear before advancing. In Uplink mode, stay within activation range of the terminal objective to keep the uplink progressing while fighting off incoming waves.

Today's Daily Challenges

ChallengeSCORE
Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6)1000
Cripple a Protectron or a Robobrain's Arm (x2)250
Build Defense, Appliance, or Crafting items in a Workshop or C.A.M.P. (x3)250
Build light sources in a Workshop or C.A.M.P. (x3)250
Kill a Feral Ghoul (x10)250
Kill an Overgrown during The Big Bloom Event (x3)250
Plant a Crop in a Workshop or C.A.M.P. (x5)250
Take a Camera Picture of an Eyebot250

Quick completion tips:

  • Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) — Complete all eight dailies in a single session; the Gold Star bonus fires automatically once six individual challenges are done.
  • Cripple a Protectron or a Robobrain's Arm (x2) — Watoga and Camden Park have dense Protectron and Robobrain patrols; aim for a limb with a shotgun or high-accuracy rifle for quick cripples.
  • Build Defense, Appliance, or Crafting items in a Workshop or C.A.M.P. (x3) — Place three turrets or a mix of workbenches and traps at your C.A.M.P.; scrapping and rebuilding the same object does not recount, so place three distinct items.
  • Build light sources in a Workshop or C.A.M.P. (x3) — Craft and place any three light items (lanterns, ceiling lights, or floodlights) in your C.A.M.P. or a claimed workshop; they count on placement.
  • Kill a Feral Ghoul (x10) — Grafton Steel, Harpers Ferry, and the National Isolated Radio Array each spawn Feral Ghouls in dense clusters; any of these clears the challenge in one stop.
  • Kill an Overgrown during The Big Bloom Event (x3) — The Big Bloom public event is the most reliable source; today's Daily Ops at Watoga High School also spawns Overgrown while the seasonal event period is active.
  • Plant a Crop in a Workshop or C.A.M.P. (x5) — Open build mode and plant five crops under Resources > Food at your C.A.M.P.; tatos and corn cost minimal resources and complete the challenge instantly.
  • Take a Camera Picture of an Eyebot — Eyebots patrol roads near the Whitespring, Morgantown Airport, and Flatwoods; equip the camera before approaching to snap the picture before it flies off.

Quick completion hints:

  • Complete a Gold Star Daily Challenge! (x3) — Earn the daily Gold Star on three separate days this week by completing at least six dailies each day; this week's daily challenges make that straightforward.
  • Repeatable Under Rank 100: Gain XP (x10000) — Run Big Bloom public events for concentrated XP; daily quest chains and dungeon clears also contribute toward the 10,000 target.
  • Repeatable at Rank 100 or above: Complete a Public Event (x3) — The Big Bloom public event counts; completing three this week takes roughly one play session.
  • Buy an item from or Sell an item to another Player (x15) — Visit player vending camps and purchase cheap bulk junk or food items; each individual buy or sell transaction counts, so small purchases at multiple vendors add up fast.
  • Collect Purified Water (x25) — Industrial water purifiers at your C.A.M.P. or a claimed workshop produce multiple bottles per harvest cycle; set up two or three and collect periodically through the week.
  • Collect Stimpaks or Chems (x20) — Loot hospitals, first-aid boxes, and enemy drops; Watoga Hospital and Grafton General are high-density chem and stimpak sources.
  • Collect a Board Game (x4) — Board games spawn in residential homes and recreational buildings; Charleston, Flatwoods, and Summersville houses have reliable spawns.
  • Consume any Chems (x9) — Use Buffout, Mentats, Jet, or similar chems from your inventory across the week; stimpaks do not count for this challenge.
  • Kill a Beezlebaby or Beezlebub during The Big Bloom Event (x20) — Farm the Big Bloom public event repeatedly; both enemy types spawn throughout the event and 20 kills comes quickly with back-to-back runs before June 2.
  • Kill a Cultist (x25) — Cultists spawn at ritual camps and Mothman cult locations in the Forest region, including near Point Pleasant and Kanawha Nuke-Site; the Eye of the Storm public event also reliably spawns clusters of Cultist enemies.
  • Scrap junk to produce Bone (x15) — Kill Snallygasters, Deathclaws, Mole Rats, or Rad Scorpions and loot their bone junk; bring it to any workbench and scrap to count toward the 15 required.
  • Sell Yao Guai Ribs to an NPC vendor — Kill any Yao Guai (found in the Forest and Savage Divide regions), loot the Yao Guai Ribs, then sell them to any NPC vendor such as the Whitespring vendor or Responders in Flatwoods.
