Active Events Today

RIP Daring Mini Season

April 21 – May 5, 2026

The mini season is in its final stretch — only two days remain before it closes Tuesday at noon ET. Knock out any outstanding SCORE milestones now before the curtain drops.

Spooky Scorched Event

April 28 – May 12, 2026

Spooky Scorched enemies are roaming Appalachia through May 12, directly feeding today's daily and weekly leg-crippling challenges. High-density spawn areas like Point Pleasant and the broader Mire region are your best bet for fast progress.

Double SCORE, Double Mutations and Caps-A-Plenty

April 30 – May 4, 2026

Last day — event ends tomorrow at . All SCORE earned from challenge completions counts double today. Stack your daily turn-ins and knock out as many weeklies as possible before the May 4 noon ET reset wipes the bonus.

Today's Daily Ops

ModeDecryption
LocationArktos Pharma Biome Labs
EnemiesRobots
MutationsGroup Regeneration + Freezing Touch

Mutation breakdown:

  • Group Regeneration — Robots standing near each other regenerate health rapidly. You must separate targets before committing damage; fighting clustered groups will reverse your progress faster than you can deal it.
  • Freezing Touch — Robots apply cryo damage on melee contact, slowing movement and risking a freeze. Stay at range and avoid letting enemies close the gap.

Strategy: Decryption requires locating encrypted holotapes carried by marked enemies, then decrypting them at a terminal. With Group Regeneration active at Arktos Pharma Biome Labs, pull individual robots away from patrols before engaging — incendiary or fire-based weapons help counter the self-healing while you burn through their health pool. Keep your distance at all times to avoid Freezing Touch procs from melee robots, and complete the terminal decryption step promptly after securing each holotape rather than lingering to clear every remaining enemy.

Today's Daily Challenges

ChallengeSCORE
Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6)2000
Craft Bulk Steel500
Complete a Daily Quest500
Cook a Meal with Plants or Fungi (x5)500
Cripple a Spooky Scorched's Leg (x10)500
Ferment an Alcoholic Beverage (x3)500
Harvest a Wild Plant or Fungi (x12)500
Kill Insects (x5)500

Quick completion tips:

  • Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) — Complete six of the other dailies first; the Gold Star auto-completes at the threshold. With Double SCORE active today, this 2000-SCORE reward is doubled — make it your anchor for the session.
  • Craft Bulk Steel — Open a Tinker's Workbench and bulk-craft Steel from loose steel scrap in your inventory. A single craft satisfies this challenge.
  • Complete a Daily Quest — Pick up any daily from vendors like Sofia Daguerre, Beckett, Digger, or Grahm and complete it; short quests like "Thirst Things First" from the Forest vendors count.
  • Cook a Meal with Plants or Fungi (x5) — Use a cooking station with plant or fungi ingredients (Bloodleaf, Carrot Flower, Blight, Mutfruit, Firecap). The Harvest challenge below produces the ingredients you need.
  • Cripple a Spooky Scorched's Leg (x10) — The Spooky Scorched event is active; aim explicitly at leg hitboxes near Point Pleasant or through the Mire for dense spawns. Ten cripples goes quickly in a high-traffic area.
  • Ferment an Alcoholic Beverage (x3) — Requires a Fermenter in your CAMP or a visited ally's CAMP; Nukashine, Hard Lemonade, and similar recipes count. Queue all three at once as some drinks require in-game time to ferment.
  • Harvest a Wild Plant or Fungi (x12) — The Forest and Toxic Valley regions have dense wild plant spawns. Looping through Flatwoods toward Morgantown covers this comfortably in one pass.
  • Kill Insects (x5) — Bloodbugs and Radroaches near the Forest starting zone or Stingwings in the Toxic Valley clear this quickly; five kills is a very low bar.

Quick completion hints:

  • Complete a Gold Star Daily Challenge (x3) — Natural daily progression; earn your Gold Star each day this week by completing six dailies per session.
  • Cripple a Spooky Scorched's Leg (x30) — Pairs directly with the daily version (x10); the Spooky Scorched event runs until May 12, giving you the full week. Aim for leg hitboxes at Point Pleasant and the Mire for the fastest stacks.
  • Cripple a Super Mutant's Arm (x30) — Super Mutants are abundant at Huntersville in the Savage Divide and at Grafton Steel in the Toxic Valley; aim for the arm limb slot.
  • Harvest a Wild Plant or Fungi (x30) — Stacks directly with today's daily harvest challenge (x12). Loop through the Forest region and server-hop if you deplete local spawns.
  • Collect Pre-war Food (x20) — Pre-war canned goods (Pork n' Beans, Cram, InstaMash, Baked Beans) spawn in kitchens, diners, and grocery stores. The Whitespring Resort kitchen area and the Flatwoods diner are reliable sources.
  • Complete an Event (x3) — Any public event counts; Uranium Fever, Moonshine Jamboree, and Eviction Notice are commonly triggered and complete quickly.
  • Eat a Vegetable (x25) — Any cooked or raw vegetable item counts. Cook plant-based meals with the daily cooking challenge and eat them to satisfy both at once.
  • Scrap junk to produce Ceramic (x15) — Scrap Coffee Cups, Ceramic Jugs, Garden Gnomes, Bowls, or Plates at any workbench. These are common household items found throughout the Forest.
  • Sell Pumpkin Pie to an NPC vendor — Craft Pumpkin Pie at a cooking station (requires Pumpkin and Butter or Vegetable Oil) and sell one to any NPC vendor to clear this.
  • Sell a Weapon to an NPC vendor (x15) — Loot weapons from any enemy encounters throughout the week and sell to any NPC vendor; cheap pipe weapons dropped by Scorched work fine.
