Today's Daily Ops
| Mode | Decryption |
| Location | Morgantown High School |
| Enemies | Robots |
| Mutations | Savage Strike, Swift-Footed |
Mutation breakdown:
- Savage Strike: Enemies deal bonus melee damage — robots that close to melee range will hit significantly harder than usual, punishing any player standing still at close quarters.
- Swift-Footed: Enemies move faster than normal — Protectrons, Assaultrons, and Sentry Bots will chase and close distance rapidly, shrinking the window to kite safely.
Strategy: In Decryption mode, locate and interact with the encrypted data terminals inside Morgantown High School to extract data while Robots attack in waves. With Swift-Footed active, robots will reach your position faster than usual — prioritize ranged builds and keep moving between objective points to maintain distance. Savage Strike makes letting any robot reach melee dangerous, so use crowd control, knockdown, or area-of-effect weapons to create space while you interact with terminals. VATS can help target high-priority Assaultrons quickly when hallways get congested.
Today's Daily Challenges
| Challenge | SCORE |
|---|---|
| Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) | 1000 |
| Collect Soap (x2) | 250 |
| Collect Pre-war Food (x5) | 250 |
| Complete a Daily Operation! | 250 |
| Cook Mole Rat Chunks (x3) | 250 |
| Eat Pre-war Food (x5) | 250 |
| Kill a Human Enemy (x10) | 250 |
| Kill a Mole Rat (x5) | 250 |
Quick completion tips:
- Collect Soap (x2): Soap spawns in bathrooms and kitchens throughout Appalachia — check houses in Flatwoods, Charleston neighborhoods, or any domestic interior; only two needed so this clears fast.
- Collect Pre-war Food (x5): Pre-war food items (Pork n' Beans, Sugar Bombs, canned goods) spawn in kitchens, convenience stores, and supermarkets; the Whitespring Resort food court and any Arktos Pharma kitchen reliably have stock.
- Complete a Daily Operation!: Run today's Decryption op at Morgantown High School — completing it once satisfies this challenge.
- Cook Mole Rat Chunks (x3): Head to Big Fred's BBQ Shack in the Ash Heap where mole rats roam outside and a cooking station is on-site; kill 5 mole rats (overlapping with the kill challenge), loot chunks, then cook all three at once.
- Eat Pre-war Food (x5): Eat the same pre-war food items collected for the Collect challenge — gathering and consuming them back-to-back naturally completes both.
- Kill a Human Enemy (x10): Raider and Blood Eagle camps in the Savage Divide and the Mire have clustered human spawns; Huntersville road camps or a quick public event like Uranium Fever also stack kills fast.
- Kill a Mole Rat (x5): Big Fred's BBQ Shack and the mole rat dens around Beckley and Sunnytop Ski Lanes have reliable spawns; combine this run with Cook Mole Rat Chunks for maximum efficiency.

Quick completion hints:
- Complete a Gold Star Daily Challenge (x3): Finish all 6 daily challenges each day to earn the Gold Star — three days this week closes this out.
- Build a Decoration in a Workshop or C.A.M.P. (x25): Place a cheap item such as a rug or planter at your C.A.M.P., scrap it, and replace it repeatedly — each placement counts toward the 25 total.
- Complete Daily Operations on a Public Team (x5): Join a public team via the Social menu before launching today's Daily Ops at Morgantown High School — each completed run counts; five runs across the week finishes this.
- Craft Ballistic Ammo (x65): Bulk-craft .38 or 5mm rounds at an Ammo Workbench using stored lead and steel; 65 rounds across a couple of sessions is straightforward.
- Deal Fire Damage to Enemies (x500): Use a Flamer, Dragon, Molotov cocktails, or incendiary grenades at high-density spawn areas like Huntersville or any Public Event to accumulate fire damage quickly.
- Drink Nuka-Cherry (x5): Nuka-Cherries are found in vending machines at Camden Park and scattered buildings throughout Appalachia; player vendors often stock them cheaply as well.
- Kill a Blood Eagle (x30): Blood Eagle camps in the Mire and eastern Savage Divide have reliable respawns — server-hop after clearing each camp to reset quickly.
- Kill a Super Mutant (x30): Huntersville in the Savage Divide is the densest Super Mutant location in Appalachia; server-hop after clearing to stack kills efficiently.
- Mod an Energy Weapon (x5): Apply five separate mods at a Weapons Workbench — a laser pistol or plasma rifle with inexpensive basic mods satisfies each individual application.
- Scrap junk to produce Circuitry (x15): Scrap Alarm Clocks, Cameras, Circuit Boards, and Hot Plates found in office buildings, labs, and Whitespring resort rooms for reliable Circuitry yield.
