Today's Daily Ops
| Mode | Uplink |
| Location | Charleston Capitol Building |
| Enemies | Mothman Cultists |
| Mutations | Piercing Gaze, Danger Cloud |
Mutation breakdown:
- Piercing Gaze: Enemies have increased detection range and can see through stealth effects — Stealth Boys and sneak-based approaches offer no benefit this run.
- Danger Cloud: Enemies release a poisonous cloud on death — avoid standing over freshly killed targets and keep repositioning between engagements.
Strategy: Charleston Capitol Building is a multi-level interior; Uplink mode requires activating signal terminals while Mothman Cultist waves attempt to interrupt each activation. Piercing Gaze removes any opening stealth advantage, so commit to a direct-combat build using fire or energy weapons — both deal solid damage to Cultists. Clear the immediate spawn points near each terminal before triggering the activation, then move immediately to avoid Danger Cloud accumulation from fallen enemies. Normal difficulty completes in roughly 10–15 minutes.
Today's Daily Challenges
| Challenge | SCORE |
|---|---|
| Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) | 1000 |
| 1st (Fallout 1st): Chew some Bubblegum | 250 |
| Complete a Daily Quest | 250 |
| Destroy a Robot (x10) | 250 |
| Destroy an Assaultron | 250 |
| Hack a Terminal | 250 |
| Scrap junk to produce Circuitry (x5) | 250 |
| Scrap junk to produce Lead (x10) | 250 |
Quick completion tips:
- Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6): Completing the other six dailies listed here earns the Gold Star automatically — all 2500 SCORE is reachable in a single session.
- 1st (Fallout 1st): Chew some Bubblegum: Bubblegum spawns in food containers, candy bowls, and lunch pails throughout Appalachia — Sugar Grove and vending machines at diners are reliable spots.
- Complete a Daily Quest: Any repeatable daily quest counts — "Thirst Things First" at Whitesprings and faction dailies at Foundation or Crater both complete in under 10 minutes.
- Destroy a Robot (x10): Head to the Whitesprings Mall — the interior is packed with robots that respawn consistently and can clear all 10 kills in a few minutes; today's Daily Ops location has Mothman Cultists (not robots), so Whitesprings is the faster route for this challenge.
- Destroy an Assaultron: Assaultrons spawn inside the Whitesprings Mall, at the RobCo Research Center, and throughout Watoga — grab the Assaultron kill while farming robots for the x10 challenge nearby.
- Hack a Terminal: Terminals are found in most government, military, and faction buildings — the Whitesprings Bunker and Pioneer Scout Camp at Spruce Knob both have accessible terminals without prerequisites.
- Scrap junk to produce Circuitry (x5): Circuit boards, biometric scanners, and sensor modules all yield Circuitry — loot the Whitesprings robot area or RobCo Research Center for high-tech junk, then scrap at any workbench.
- Scrap junk to produce Lead (x10): Pencils, antique globes, toy cars, and watches produce Lead — office buildings and schools in Charleston and Flatwoods are dense with this type of junk.

Quick completion hints:
- Complete a Gold Star Daily Challenge! (x3): Earn your Gold Star each reset day by completing six daily challenges — this weekly finishes naturally across three days of normal play.
- Repeatable Under Rank 100: Gain XP (x10000): Public events like Uranium Fever and Radiation Rumble deliver fast XP; today's Daily Ops run at Charleston Capitol Building also pays out a solid XP reward per completion.
- Repeatable at Rank 100 or above: Complete a Public Event (x3): Any public event on the map counts — watch yellow event markers on the compass and join whatever is active nearby.
- Build a Decoration in a Workshop or C.A.M.P. (x25): Rugs, paintings, shelving, and potted plants all qualify as decorations — place 25 in your C.A.M.P. or a claimed workshop; building and scrapping the same piece repeatedly counts toward the total.
- Complete Daily Operations on a Public Team! (x5): Join or form a public team via the Social menu before launching Daily Ops — today's Uplink run at Charleston Capitol Building counts; five runs this week finishes the challenge.
- Craft Ballistic Ammo (x65): Use an Ammo Workbench to craft .38 rounds, 5mm, or .45 ACP in batches — lead gathered during today's daily junk challenge and steel are the primary materials.
- Deal Fire Damage to Enemies (x500): A Flamer or Molotov Cocktails accumulate the 500-damage threshold quickly across any public event or enemy camp; fire-based weapon mods on rifles and pistols also count.
- Drink Nuka-Cherry (x5): Check Nuka-Cola vending machines, food containers at diners and grocery stores, and player vendor restocks — Whitesprings Resort shops and the Valley Galleria have reliable spawns.
- Kill a Blood Eagle (x30): Blood Eagles are concentrated in the Ash Heap and Cranberry Bog — Lewisburg and the area around the Converted Munitions Factory have consistent multi-Blood Eagle encounters.
- Kill a Super Mutant (x30): Super Mutants cluster at Huntersville, Grafton Steel, and Savage Divide outposts — server-hop after clearing each camp to reset spawns and keep the count moving.
- Mod an Energy Weapon (x5): Apply any mod to an energy weapon at a Weapons Workbench — laser pistols and plasma guns have inexpensive early mods using common components like adhesive and screws.
- Scrap junk to produce Circuitry (x15): This overlaps with today's Circuitry daily challenge — alarm clocks, biometric scanners, and sensors all yield Circuitry; looting robot enemies at Whitesprings Mall accelerates progress toward both challenges simultaneously.

Updates
Fallout 76 Update Notes – April 21, 2026 (Patch 67)
Patch 67 (Version 1.7.24.12) is active — the armor durability overhaul means gear now degrades based on damage the armor actually mitigates rather than raw incoming damage, so well-armored builds should see significantly longer gear lifespan. The update also fixed Daily Ops rare reward drops, corrected the Mothman Cultist disguise behavior for the Deathclaw Skin Outfit, and resolved multiple C.A.M.P. building issues including the Collectron terminal bug in public workshops.
