Rip Daring vs Aliens C.A.M.P. Showdown
April 2 – April 27, 2026
Build and decorate your C.A.M.P. around an alien invasion or Rip Daring theme to earn exclusive event rewards. Ten days remain before the April 27 close — make final pushes on reward tiers this weekend.
Double XP, Minerva's Big Sale, and Double Mutations
April 16 – April 20, 2026
Double XP and Double Mutations are both live through (April 20 at 12:00 PM ET). All XP earned counts twice, and mutations double their stat bonuses this weekend. Minerva's Big Sale (List 8) is also running concurrently at The Whitespring through the same window — the optimal time this month to level, fine-tune mutation builds, and stock up on endgame plans at a 25% Gold Bullion discount.
Today's Daily Ops
| Mode | Decryption |
| Location | West Tek |
| Enemies | Scorched |
| Mutations | Savage Strike, Swift-Footed, Freezing Touch |
Mutation breakdown:
- Savage Strike: Enemies execute a devastating melee attack that deals significantly increased damage — getting caught in melee range is lethal, especially against groups.
- Swift-Footed: Scorched move faster than normal, closing distance quickly and rushing the terminal before players can react.
- Freezing Touch: Enemy melee and contact hits apply a temporary freeze effect, immobilizing or slowing the player — being swarmed will lock you in place.
Strategy: Decryption mode requires players to defend encrypted data packages and upload them to a terminal while fending off enemy waves. Against Swift-Footed Scorched at West Tek, hold chokepoints in the lab corridors to funnel enemies rather than fighting in open rooms. Savage Strike makes point-blank brawls punishing — commit to ranged weapons and keep distance. Freezing Touch compounds getting swarmed, so clear Scorched clusters before moving to the terminal; AoE weapons and fire damage are efficient against Scorched and help control the tight interior layout.
Today's Daily Challenges
| Challenge | SCORE |
|---|---|
| Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) | 1000 |
| Drink Tea | 250 |
| Complete an Event | 250 |
| Consume any Chems (x2) | 250 |
| Deal a Critical Hit to an Enemy using Automatic Weapons in VATS (x5) | 250 |
| Drink Nuka-Orange (x2) | 250 |
| Kill a Glowing Creature | 250 |
| Pick a Lock | 250 |
Quick completion tips:
- Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) — Finish the other six dailies below and the Gold Star awards automatically. Chain the Glowing Creature, lock pick, and event challenges in one session to knock them out together.
- Drink Tea — Craft Tea at any cooking station (Boiled Water + Black Cranberry or other tea ingredients), or buy it from player vendors. Any Tea variant counts. The Whitespring golf clubhouse kitchen is a fast crafting stop.
- Complete an Event — Any public event qualifies. With Double XP active, "Radiation Rumble," "Line in the Sand," and "Uranium Fever" are high-traffic and complete quickly with a full group.
- Consume any Chems (x2) — Use any two chems from your inventory: Stimpaks, RadAway, Buffout, Berry Mentats, or Rad-X all count. Craft or loot — chems are plentiful throughout Appalachia.
- Deal a Critical Hit to an Enemy using Automatic Weapons in VATS (x5) — Build your critical meter with VATS attacks, then spend it using any automatic weapon (Gatling Gun, Combat Rifle in auto mode, 10mm Pistol full-auto, etc.). Five critical hits needed; any enemy works.
- Drink Nuka-Orange (x2) — Nuka-Orange spawns in fridges, coolers, and vending machines across Appalachia. Check the Nuka-Cola plant and roadside diners, or pick it up cheaply from player vending machines.
- Kill a Glowing Creature — Glowing creatures spawn at radiation hotspots and after nuclear strikes. The exterior grounds of The Whitespring and the areas around Grafton and Flatwoods have reliable Glowing Radroach and Glowing Ghoul spawns. "Uranium Fever" at Blackwater Mine also produces glowing enemies.
- Pick a Lock — Any locked container or door in the world counts, regardless of lock level. Shelters, abandoned buildings, and pre-war houses all have lockable containers. One pick anywhere completes the challenge.
Weekly Challenges

| Scrap junk to produce Gears (x15) | 1000 SCORE |
| Sell Pumpkin Pie to an NPC vendor | 1000 SCORE |
| Take a Picture of a Wendigo | 1000 SCORE |
Quick completion hints:
- Complete a Gold Star Daily Challenge! (x3) — Earns passively over three daily reset cycles. No extra effort needed beyond completing the daily Gold Star each day.
- Repeatable Under Rank 100: Gain XP (x10000) — Double XP is live through April 20, so every XP source counts twice. Public events, quests, and kills all accelerate this well above the normal rate this weekend.
- Repeatable at Rank 100 or above: Complete a Public Event (x3) — Any public event qualifies. "Radiation Rumble," "Uranium Fever," and "Line in the Sand" complete quickly with groups; three total clears needed per cycle.
- Catch a Fish (x21) — The April Dotted Axolotl is active in the Mire and Burning Springs through May 5. Fish at ponds and streams in those regions — any fish catch counts toward the 21-fish total, not just axolotls. Bring fishing bait to improve the catch rate.
- Destroy a Robot (x30) — The Whitespring Resort interior and golf course have dense Protectron and Sentry Bot spawns. "Uranium Fever" and "Grafton Day" also yield robot kills efficiently in a single run.
- Eat a Vegetable (x25) — Stock up on Tatos, Corn, or Carrots from your CAMP garden or a player vendor. Eat them individually while running other challenges; 25 spreads easily over a full session.
- Kill a Mole Rat (x15) — Anchor Farm in the Forest region, Mosstown, and the area around Vault 76 have reliable Mole Rat spawns. Server hop if locations are cleared.
- Scrap Pre-War Money (x50) — Pre-War Money drops from safes, filing cabinets, and Scorched loot. The Whitespring Resort's many safes yield a large haul — farm them while completing the robot kill challenge in the same building.
- Scrap junk to produce Fertilizer (x15) — Fertilizer comes from scrapping Brahmin Dung, compost bags, and fertilizer sacks. Billings Homestead and Vault-Tec Agricultural Research Center are reliable Brahmin Dung sources.
- Scrap junk to produce Gears (x15) — Gears come from typewriters, desk fans, cameras, and fishing rods. Check offices, classrooms, and homes throughout Appalachia; industrial areas in the Savage Divide also stock these.
- Sell Pumpkin Pie to an NPC vendor — Craft a Pumpkin Pie at a cooking station (Pumpkin, Flour, Sugar). Pumpkins grow at Pleasant Valley Ski Resort and Savage Divide farm areas. Sell the finished pie to any NPC vendor once to complete the challenge.
- Take a Picture of a Wendigo — Wendigo Cave (northeast Savage Divide, west of Seneca Rocks) has a reliable Wendigo spawn. Enter Photomode while a live Wendigo is in frame to complete the challenge.

sigh Just wanted to report in: No, the plans aren't bugged. A "Long Pew" is not a sniper rifle.
