Today's Daily Ops put you in Glassed Cavern on Uplink against Fanatics under Piercing Gaze and Volatile — back off before kills detonate and keep enemies clear of your uplink objectives. The Rip Daring C.A.M.P. Showdown rolls on, and the Atomic Shop refreshes with today's first daily deal and new featured bundle discounts.
Active Events Today
Rip Daring vs Aliens C.A.M.P. Showdown
April 2 – April 27, 2026 The C.A.M.P. Showdown is still running with nearly two weeks left — use today's SCORE-earning challenges to push seasonal progress while the event is active.
Today's Daily Ops
| Mode | Uplink |
| Location | Glassed Cavern |
| Enemies | Fanatics |
| Mutations | Piercing Gaze, Volatile |
Mutation breakdown:
- Piercing Gaze — Enemies detect you from significantly farther away than normal. Stealth approaches are largely ineffective; expect engagements to open at range the moment you enter a room.
- Volatile — Enemies explode on death. In the confined spaces of a cavern, detonation splash can chain across nearby corpses or hit you if you're standing too close when a kill is confirmed.
Strategy: Uplink mode requires defending uplink objectives from enemy waves — keep Fanatics clear of the uplink points before each transmission begins rather than fighting them on top of the objectives. Piercing Gaze means every enemy in a room will activate immediately on entry, so pull groups back into corridors before engaging to avoid fighting in the middle of an active uplink. With Volatile active, back away from low-health Fanatics before they die and avoid bunching kills — letting a chain of explosions go off in a tunnel can rapidly drain the health of nearby teammates. Single-target weapons that finish enemies cleanly at range reduce the risk of accidental Volatile triggers near the uplink points.
Today's Daily Challenges
| Challenge | SCORE |
|---|---|
| Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) | 1000 |
| Scrap junk to produce Acid (x5) | 250 |
| Collect Mothman Eggs (x3) | 250 |
| Cook a Meat-Based Meal (x5) | 250 |
| Eat a Cooked Meal (x10) | 250 |
| Kill a Cryptid | 250 |
| Kill a Cultist (x10) | 250 |
| Sell Mothman Egg Omelette to an NPC vendor | 250 |
Quick completion tips:
- Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6): All seven non-Gold-Star challenges are available today — complete any six to earn the Gold Star and its 1000 SCORE bonus.
- Scrap junk to produce Acid (x5): Acid comes from scrapping Abraxo Cleaner, Abraxo Cleaner Industrial Grade, or Glowing Fungi. Check general stores, kitchens, and chemistry tables in towns like Flatwoods and Morgantown for Abraxo Cleaner; five items will cover this quickly.
- Collect Mothman Eggs (x3): Mothman Egg nests appear on the ground in the Mire region — search around Point Pleasant, Ingram Mansion, and the bog near Dyer Chemical. Three eggs from a single sweep of the area is typical.
- Cook a Meat-Based Meal (x5): Any cooked meat-based recipe counts — Brahmin Steak, Deathclaw Steak, Yao Guai Roast, or similar. Cook five at any cooking station to complete this; if you have the Mothman Egg Omelette recipe, crafting five omelettes knocks out this challenge and sets up the sell challenge at the same time.
- Eat a Cooked Meal (x10): Eat any ten cooked food items — combine this naturally with the cooking challenge by consuming what you prepare. Raw food and drinks do not count; cooked items only.
- Kill a Cryptid: One kill of any cryptid completes this — Mothman, Snallygaster, Grafton Monster, Flatwoods Monster, Sheepsquatch, or Wendigo all qualify. Mothman spawns in and around Point Pleasant, putting it on the same route as the egg and cultist challenges today.
- Kill a Cultist (x10): Mothman Cultists spawn at Firebase Major, around Point Pleasant, and at cult-affiliated locations in The Forest and Mire. A run through Point Pleasant and the surrounding area typically yields ten kills without needing to travel further.
- Sell Mothman Egg Omelette to an NPC vendor: Cook the omelette at any cooking station using the Mothman Eggs collected from today's other challenge, then sell it to any NPC vendor — Whitespring Resort, Foundation, or Crater vendors are convenient. This challenge chains directly with the egg collection and cooking challenges above.
Weekly Challenges
| Challenge | Reward |
|---|---|
| Complete a Gold Star Daily Challenge! (x3) | 1500 SCORE |
| Repeatable Under Rank 100: Gain XP (x10000) | 100 SCORE |
| Repeatable at Rank 100 or above: Complete a Public Event (x3) | 300 SCORE |
| Catch a Fish (x21) | 1000 SCORE |
| Destroy a Robot (x30) | 1000 SCORE |
| Eat a Vegetable (x25) | 1000 SCORE |
| Kill a Mole Rat (x15) | 1000 SCORE |
| Scrap Pre-War Money (x50) | 1000 SCORE |
| Scrap junk to produce Fertilizer (x15) | 1000 SCORE |
| Scrap junk to produce Gears (x15) | 1000 SCORE |
| Sell Pumpkin Pie to an NPC vendor | 1000 SCORE |
| Take a Picture of a Wendigo | 1000 SCORE |
Quick completion hints:
- Complete a Gold Star Daily Challenge! (x3): Earn a Gold Star by completing six daily challenges in a single reset day; repeat over three different days this week to close out the weekly.
- Catch a Fish (x21): Fish at any fishing hole — the April Dotted Axolotl is active in the Mire and Burning Springs through May 5, so fishing in those regions lets you stack axolotl progress alongside the 21-fish weekly count.
- Destroy a Robot (x30): Robot-dense locations include the Whitespring Resort (Protectrons, Assaultrons), ATLAS Observatory, and the area around Grafton. Public events like "Uranium Fever" at Blackwater Mine and "Lode Baring" reliably cluster robot kills.
- Eat a Vegetable (x25): Pick and eat raw or cooked vegetables — Mutfruit, Tato, Corn, Blackberries, and Carrots all count. Harvest from CAMP garden plots or sweep kitchens and farms across the Forest and Mire for a quick 25.
- Kill a Mole Rat (x15): Mole Rats spawn in large groups at Mole Rat Den (south of The Wayward), around Flatwoods, and in burrow sites across the Forest. One or two area sweeps typically covers all 15.
- Scrap Pre-War Money (x50): Pre-War Money turns up in cash registers, homes, and offices throughout Appalachia. The Whitespring Golf Club, Morgantown Airport, and downtown Charleston buildings are consistent sources; load up your carry weight before a single area loop.
- Scrap junk to produce Fertilizer (x15): Fertilizer is produced by scrapping Brahmin Dung, Waste Antiseptic, and similar organic junk. Check farms across the Forest and Mire for Brahmin-related drops, or buy bulk organic junk from player vendors.
- Scrap junk to produce Gears (x15): Gears come from scrapping Typewriters, Desk Fans, Cameras, and Alarm Clocks. The Whitespring Resort lobby, Morgantown office buildings, and industrial areas yield good quantities.
- Sell Pumpkin Pie to an NPC vendor: Cook a Pumpkin Pie at any cooking station (requires Pumpkin and Sugar among other ingredients), then sell it to any NPC vendor. Pumpkins grow wild near farms in the Forest or can be planted at your CAMP.
- Take a Picture of a Wendigo: Wendigos spawn in Wendigo Cave (east of Monongah in the Savage Divide) and in the Whitespring tunnels area. Equip your camera before engaging, get the Wendigo in frame while it is still alive, and snap the photo.
