Daily Fallout 76 Briefing - April 3, 2026
Friday reset rolls in with Decryption ops at West Tek — Communists, Savage Strike, and Danger Cloud. The Rip Daring vs Aliens C.A.M.P. Showdown kicked off yesterday, the weekend Atom Shop sale is live, and Mutated Public Events land Tuesday.
Active Events Today
Rip Daring vs Aliens C.A.M.P. Showdown
April 2 – April 27, 2026
The C.A.M.P. Showdown event launched yesterday and runs through April 27 — build and decorate your camp to earn event-specific rewards over the next three weeks. Get your camp in shape early so you have time to iterate before the deadline.
Clay Axolotl — Ending Soon
March 3 – April 7, 2026
The March Clay Axolotl spawns only in Skyline Valley and Toxic Valley among small fish. The event ends April 7 at 11:59 AM ET, so you have a few resets left to secure your catch if you haven't already.
Today's Daily Ops
| Mode | Decryption |
| Location | West Tek |
| Enemies | Communists |
| Mutations | Savage Strike, Danger Cloud |
Mutation breakdown:
- Savage Strike — Melee enemies deal significantly increased damage and close distance aggressively. Keep them at range and avoid getting cornered in West Tek's tight corridors.
- Danger Cloud — Periodic toxic gas clouds appear throughout the op, dealing continuous damage. Equip a gas mask or stack Rad Resistance, and move through cloud zones quickly rather than holding position inside them.
Strategy: West Tek's interior hallways amplify Savage Strike — Communist melee rushes can shred unprepared players at choke points, so anchor near doorways and let teammates pull aggro before moving in. Pop a Radaway or Rad-X at the start to buffer the Danger Cloud tick damage and avoid burning healing supplies mid-fight. Synergy bonus today: the "Deal Fire Damage to Enemies (x100)" daily lines up cleanly with this op — bring a flamer or incendiary rounds and knock out both objectives in a single run.
