Daily Fallout 76 Briefing - March 29, 2026

Sunday reset brings Uplink ops in The Burrows against Fanatics, eight daily challenges including Gold Star, and a heads-up that Minerva List 6 arrives at Crater tomorrow.

Active Events Today

Clay Axolotl — Axolotl of the Month

March 3 – April 7, 2026

The Clay Axolotl is catchable in Skyline Valley and Toxic Valley — only 8 days remain before it rotates out. Hit those two regions specifically if you still need it for your collection.

Today's Daily Ops

ModeUplink
LocationThe Burrows
EnemiesFanatics
MutationsPiercing Gaze, Swift-Footed

Mutation breakdown:

  • Piercing Gaze — Enemy detection range is drastically extended; stealth approaches and pre-positioning are effectively nullified.
  • Swift-Footed — Enemies move significantly faster, closing gaps and rushing objectives before you can kite them.

Strategy: Skip stealth entirely — Piercing Gaze makes it irrelevant in The Burrows' cramped sewer corridors. Use the tight tunnels to funnel Fanatics into choke points and punish them with shotguns, explosives, or fast-firing automatic weapons before Swift-Footed closes the distance. For Uplink, stand on or adjacent to the signal points and hold your ground rather than chasing; let the enemies come to you through the bottlenecks and keep a medic or stim-heavy build on standby for the swift rushes.

Today's Daily Challenges

ChallengeSCORE
Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6)1000
Collect Soap (x2)250
Build a Decoration in a Workshop or C.A.M.P. (x5)250

Gain XP (x2500)250
Kill a Radstag (x5)250
Kill an Enemy in the Cranberry Bog Region (x5)250
Scrap junk to produce Fiber Optics (x3)250

Quick completion tips:

  • Gold Star unlocks once you finish any six of the other dailies — prioritize the naturally stackable ones first.
  • Collect Soap drops from containers and enemy loot in most regions; check sinks and utility shelves in buildings.
  • Build a Decoration counts workshop objects, too — place and scrap five cheap items in any workshop you control.
  • Craft any Flair at a Tinkerer's Bench — a single inexpensive flair counts; knock it out in your CAMP on the way to other challenges.
  • Fiber Optics can be scrapped from Biometric Scanners, Microscopes, and Fuse Boxes — stash a few from your junk pile now.
  • Kill a Radstag (x5) and Kill an Enemy in the Cranberry Bog Region (x5) pair well together if you head to the Bog, where Radstags and other enemies share territory.
